Takaka Hill Adventures specialises in guided climbing tours. Our guides hold industry qualifications and are trained in hazard management, mountain rescue, and First Aid. Guides know this area well, The geography, the flora and fauna, and the local history. Our priority is your safety so you can enjoy the day, experience the thrill of mountain climbing, and feel confident you are well looked after.
Cancellation Policy
Terms & conditions if your plans change
We review all trips at 9pm the evening before, and 7am on the day of the trip. If the weather forecast is unsuitable we will cancel the trip. You will be informed by txt or phone, and you can either change to another date or receive a full refund.
Once the trip departs Motueka at 10am there are no refunds. If the weather turns bad during the day we will adjust the trip. If time allows we may switch from climbing to caving and bush walks.
100% Full refund if:
We cancel due to weather or a safety issue, and you cannot re-book.
Refund (less booking fee) if:
You cancel before 10am the day prior to your trip, giving us at least 24 hr notice. You will receive a refund for the ticket price, minus a non-refundable booking fee of 6 %.
No refund if:
You cancel after 10am the day prior giving us less than 24 hr notice.
You’re late / no-show.
You choose not to climb after the trip has departed Motueka.
You only climb one via ferrata route.
