Join us for a
unique and thrilling experience on a V8 Chevrolet trike as we explore the
beautiful Bay of Plenty. Designed and built in New Zealand, our trikes are powered
by 5700cc Chevrolet motors. It’s the ultimate in power and excitement. With a
low centre of gravity, our trikes provide a smooth ride with an impressive grip around corners. 

Buckle up and get ready to see the beautiful Bay of Plenty in the
best way possible. 
Our scenic
rides take you on a tour of the golden beaches and multi-million dollar houses.
We’ll ride through Mount Maunganui, Tauranga City and out to the scenic
lookouts across the Bay of Plenty. 

Our
drivers are also your guide. They conduct an informative drive around downtown
Mount Maunganui and Tauranga City covering local knowledge, history and
culture. Our drivers will also be able to provide additional information at the
various photo-op stops and answer any questions you may have.

If you’re
looking for something a little different, we’ve got you covered. We believe
that fun is for all ages and your number shouldn’t get in the way of excitement.
Whether you’re two-years-old or 102, we will do everything to make sure you
enjoy yourself. Our trikes are also suitable for those with a disability or special needs as they are low to the ground and are easily accessible for those in a wheelchair. The rides are safe, stimulating and fun for everyone.

We have three vehicles in our fleet to cater for 10 passengers. There are two trikes with four passenger seats and one trike with two passenger seats.

Helmets are not required. Our trikes are registered with the New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) as cars, not motorbikes, so three-point seatbelts must be worn at all times.

Our Journey

Kathryn and Nigel embarked
on this adventure in 2015, after moving from the UK to New Zealand. It was a big
transition from owning and operating a large coach company to the awesome V8
Chevrolet trikes. What grew from a passion has seen V8 Trike Tours New Zealand become
one of the Bay's must-do attractions for tourists and locals
alike. Nothing makes the pair happier than hearing “wow, that was the
highlight of our holiday” at the end of a ride. 

With over 30 years of experience
in the tourism industry, they know what is required to operate a professional
transport and tourism business. They live by the motto personal service,
professional pride and their staff does too, ensuring each customer has an
unforgettable experience. Proof can be heard in the memorable stories their
